| I got an interview coming up this Friday in the city of Orange. I'm sorta excited and nervous because I don't know what to expect. It is a marketing firm that does campaigns and stuff of that nature for other companies. I've never done anything related to marketing or sales, so who knows, I might be able to find my niche. In the worst case scenario, another job that I totally despise. I also started thinking about what I'd do if I accepted the job. The commute is kinda horrible as well, so I might have to live close by. My sister doesn't want me to move into the OC cuz she thinks I'll become either a banana (asian on the outside, white on the inside) or just snobby. I don't think that'll ever happen because Hip Hop and R&B will always reign supreme over Rock in my book. Being snobby is also not an option because "I'm still, I'm still Charlie from the block"... LOL... Moving out also depends on how the pay is, if the pay is the same then I can't move out. Actually I can move out, but then I'd starve to death and no girl likes a guy that looks anorexic. Maybe moving out to that area will have an added bonus <3 Wish me luck friends =) | | |
| Everyday is the same boring crap, work is such a drag. I'm getting laid off at work and I have to stay until May 31 if I want my 2 weeks of severance. It's like free money, but at this point I don't even care anymore. I want to just quit now, but I have nothing lined up. The job search has been going on for a little while, but so far unsuccessful partly because I'm being lazy and not trying as hard as I should. I should be editing my cover letter, but instead of on xanga... go figure... So I've been keeping up with America's Best Dance Crew and I am pretty disappointed at what transpired during the previous 2 episodes. My favorite crew is Kaba Modern, but they just got eliminated in the latest episode. I'm not sad because they got eliminated, but disappointed at how it came to be. Throughout the competition they garnered nothing but praise from the judges and was a top vote getter until after the Thriller and Broadway episode. Somehow they went from the top to the bottom of the barrel. They killed it in the Thriller episode, but made a mistake during the Broadway episode. After the Broadway episode, Status Quo became #1 despite the fact their performance was only "OK". Being #1 gives immunity so you can't be eliminated in the next episode. Kaba Modern had to face off against JabbaWockeez prematurely and subsequently lost to them. The 2 crews should've been battling in the finale, not the 2nd to the last episode. A cool thing happened this past week, Yuri Tag added me on MySpace and she actually replied to my message. I almost got a heart attack when I saw the the response because she's a celebrity and a FINE one at that. Watching Kaba Modern makes me want to try getting back into break dancing; though I was never good. I was trying to get into hand glide position and sort of aggravated my already weakened left wrist. Working out this morning didn't help either... IDIOT!!!

| Been listening to a lot of Korean and Japanese music lately, a lot of it is pretty catchy, which is why it appeals to me. It just sounds cool, who doesn't like music with a few English words here and there. I bet some of those songs wouldn't sound as nice, if I understood what they were saying. I imagine some of the songs have whack lyrics that mean nothing, like Soulja Boy's song "Crank That". Right now I'm really into a Korean rapper/singer named Lexy. The beats are catchy and she has pretty good flow though her voice is a little rough. Her style of clothing is flashy & odd for a girl, but it works. She's like the Korean Missy Elliot except smaller and prettier. Check out the songs "Rush" feat Tae Yang or "Super Fly" feat G Dragon, T.O.P & Tae Yang, you will not be disappointed... unless your taste is music is weird...

| 2007 is almost done with and 2008 is fast approaching, time to reflect on this past year. Graduated from UCR on time as planned which was nice, though it took a little luck to do so. Got my first office job, totally not what I expected and definitely a drag. The commute is horrible, the pay is whack & everyday is the same sh*t; 1 of the few positives is the experience which'll hopefully make my resume look better. Another thing is that I decided to get in shape, my goal is to have a 6 pack. Don't really have a time frame cuz this is not the easiest thing in the world to obtain. It's been about 6 or 7 weeks & I've been going to the gym 3 or 4x a week. Hopefully it'll help in my search for a mocha colored honey bunny. As of now 2008 does not appear to begin on a high note, work on Jan. 1... WHACK!!!

| Work is work, nothing new and exciting going on for sure. It's like I'm a robot or a zombie... Everyday is the same routine, reminds of me of that Charlie Chaplin movie that makes fun of scientific management. Something still doesn't feel right, even though I have co workers to talk and what I not; it still feels like I'm an outsider. I can kick it with them and chat and what not, but up to a certain point. The most clear example of this occurred like 2 weeks ago. After lunch 3 of us decided to go to the convenience store in the lobby of the building, I was walking ahead of them and I heard them saying stuff in Mandarin; which roughly translates to "where is he going"? I felt the negative vibe so I decided to go sleep in the training room. Now that there are more trainees, I can't even nap in the training room. On another note, American Gangster was tight and Frank Lucas is a BAMF for sure. I wouldn't mind watching it again.
